Dr. Gina Galloway holds a Ph.D. in counseling from the University of North
Texas. Her education also includes a masters degree in counseling
from the University of North Texas and a bachelors degree in psychology from Austin College. Dr. Galloway is a licensed
professional
counselor, a licensed professional counselor supervisor, and a registered play therapist.
Dr. Galloway studied and practiced play
therapy under the supervision of Dr. Garry Landreth. She has
extensive experience counseling individuals, couples, and families who
are struggling with abuse, trauma, grief, depression, emotional and behavioral disorders.
Dr. Galloway's clinical
experience includes counseling at community agencies, a residential
treatment center for people with drug and alcohol addictions, a
university counseling center, and an elementary and high
school. She has extensive teaching
experience at the university level, has presented at local, state, and
national conferences, and currently serves as an adjunct professor in
the counseling program at the University of North Texas.
